TRAINING PROGRAMS
EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS AND BASIC CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT COMPLIANCE
Duration: 1 Day (08H30 to 16h00)
COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course will give delegates a comprehensive understanding of the BCEA and its interrelation to employment contracts.
This course will enable delegates to:
- Illustrate a clear understanding of the BCEA;
- Regulate working time and leave as set out in the BCEA;
- Understand the particulars relating to remuneration and termination of employment;
- Draft their own employment contracts or review current contracts or policies pertaining to the BCEA.
INITIATING DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Duration: 2 Days (08H30 to 16h00)
COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course guides delegates to initiate, investigate and execute disciplinary action up to termination of employment.
This course will enable delegates to:
- Start the initiating process by gathering different types of evidence;
- Interview witnesses and obtain statements;
- Use the correct charges when charging an employee;
- Lead evidence and cross examine the accused or relevant witnesses;
- Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings to apply procedural fairness;
- Differentiate substantive fairness to establish whether the employment relationship is broken or not.
CCMA PREPARATION AND PROCEEDINGS
Duration: 2 Days (08H30 to 16h00)
COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course guides delegates to prepare evidence and documentation for CCMA proceedings. It furthermore tells delegates what to expect during conciliation and arbitration proceedings.
This course will enable delegates to:
- Gather different types of evidence i.e. documentary, verbal, video or any tangible evidence needed to highlight the positive aspects of the company’s case;
- Differentiate between what is permissible and/ or non permissible evidence;
- Interview and prepare witnesses for cross examination from opposing party;
- Enable delegated to properly cross examine witnesses of opposing party;
- Prepare paginated bundles to present evidence in sequential order;
- Represent the company in both conciliation and/ or arbitration proceedings
LABOUR LAW UPDATES: RECENT AMMENDMENTS
Duration: 1 Day (08H30 to 16h00)
COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course will highlight recent labour amendments and explain the impact thereof on your organisation;
This course will enable delegates to:
- Differentiate between old and new legislation and the reasoning behind it;
- Implement new amendments within the company without causing labour unrest;
- Update contract of employments and/ or policies and procedures according to latest legislation;
- Know what to expect in the near future and make provision for future amendments.
BUSINESS ETIQUETTE AND EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION IN THE WORKPLACE.

This course is ideal for those in the service industry who want to impress customers with outstanding service in all forms of communication. It furthermore helps to promote internal relationships between staff members and management.
This course will enable delegates to:
- Interact with fellow employees and/ or clientele, whilst using the correct business etiquette;
- Use the correct body language in different types of situations;
- Write email correspondence and use the correct formalities while doing so;
- Promote a harmonious atmosphere within the workplace by guiding them on the fundamental value of emotional intelligence.

- Thereafter R30.25 per employee to full staff compliment i.e. 200 employees = R3993 (for first 50 employees) + (R30.25×150) = R8530.50
